Schleich, a German company known for its high-quality figurines, was founded in 1935 by Friedrich Schleich. The vision of a child who grew up with a dream marked the beginning of this remarkable story.
Schleich's innovative journey began in 1950, with the presentation of its first flexible plastic figurines. This commitment to flexibility and durability laid the foundation for the brand's popularity.
In 1960, Schleich's worldwide recognition took on a new lease of life with the launch of the first The Smurfs™ collection. These iconic figurines, which have charmed the world over, have cemented Schleich's reputation as a leader in collectible toys.

HAS From the 1980s onwards and increasingly over the years, Schleich began producing animal figurines. By faithfully recreating the animal world on a reduced scale, Schleich has succeeded in reproducing universes as varied as that of extinct dinosaurs or contemporary farm animals. In particular, they have bred nearly 200 breeds of horses, ponies, foals, thus adding to their varied range.
In 2012, the company took a further step into the fantasy world with the launch of the BAYALA® range, which includes unicorn and elf figurines. This new play universe offered children new opportunities to explore their creativity and imagination.
In 2016, Schleich introduced six new play worlds, complemented by play sets, to give children more space to play and tell their own stories.
