The saltwater crocodile is the most dangerous of all crocodiles. It is the biggest of all and can weigh up to a ton, which is as much as a small car. While most crocodiles live in rivers or lakes, the saltwater crocodile is the only one that can live in fresh water as well as saltwater in the sea. There are 25 species other than the saltwater crocodile, including examples are the Nile crocodile, the hard-naped crocodile, the alligator and the caiman. Recommended age: 3 - 8 years old
