It is dedicated to the Celtic-Roman healing god Lenus Mars, who primarily stands for strength and well-being. This can be concluded from the discovery of the bronze statue from the Pomeranian Martberg, which depicts him with a Corinthian helmet, shield and armor. The finder of the bronze statue on the Pomeranian Martberg was the company founder Josef Jakob Schneiders. He found the statue and handed it over to the State Museum in Bonn. We have owned a replica of this bronze figure since 1920 and Lenus Mars has adorned our business equipment since then.
