Each bag contains 100 balls which includes a coverage of 5 square metres, ideal for creating larger wildflower patches. Best scattered in Spring or Autumn. Includes Common Poppy, Wild Carrot, Corn Marigold, Red Clover Greater Knapweed, Sheep Sorrel, Yellow Rattle, Birdsfoot Trefoil, Tufted Vetch and Self Heal. A carefully selected mix designed specifically to support garden wildlife, including bees, butterflies, birds, beetles, hedgehogs and bats – wildflowers are brilliant habitats for garden biodiversity, providing and attracting food while also offering shelter. Paper packaging is compostable and 100% plastic-free. Full instructions included on the back of the pack. We make the seed balls ourselves from our HQ in North London - from a mixture of UK native wildflower seeds, clay, peat-free compost and chilli powder. The clay protects the seeds from wildlife, and once water has permeated the clay, the seeds inside will germinate, helped along by nutrients and minerals contained within the ball. The chilli powder deters slugs and snails while the seed ball degrades and and the seeds sprout. All wildflowers are listed by the RHS as 'Plants for Pollinators'.
