Our small family business
We are Steffi and Basti with our children Theo (11 years), Annie (8 years), Bruno (6 years) and Rosie (1 year). A modern extended family from the south of Duisburg who are trying to defy the large pile of plastic toys with sustainably produced toys.
Out of the passion to build a high-quality and customizable balance board for our children, we developed our first SeesawBridge at the end of 2017.
The board was first extensively tested by Theo, Annie and Bruno, so that after a short time the neighborhood children and kindergarten friends were also allowed to play with our board.
After an extensive test phase, we founded our business after a little over a year.
First, each individual board was cut, bent, sanded, varnished and finished by us.
Since summer 2020 we have received support from a carpentry shop with people with disabilities. Every board is still produced regionally in North Rhine-Westphalia and refined by us and at the same time a social project is supported. We are happy and proud to be able to work with such great people and friends.
