Our small family business
We are Steffi and Basti with our children Theo (11 years old), Annie (8 years old), Bruno (6 years old), and Rosie (1 year old). A modern extended family from the south of Duisburg who are trying to counter the huge pile of plastic toys with sustainably produced toys.
Out of our passion to build a high-quality and customizable balance board for our children, we developed our first SeesawBridge at the end of 2017.
The board was initially tested extensively by Theo, Annie and Bruno, so that after a short time the neighbors' children and kindergarten friends were also allowed to play with our board.
After an extensive testing phase, we founded our business a little over a year later.
First, we cut, bent, sanded, painted and finished each individual board.
Since summer 2020, we have received support from a carpentry workshop with people with disabilities. Each board is still manufactured regionally in NRW and finished by us, while at the same time supporting a social project. We are happy and proud to be able to work with such great people and friends.
