The salty spring waters of Salies-de-Béarn are known for their thermal virtues and have been used at the Thermes de Salies-de-Béarn since their opening. Bath Salt is obtained by slow evaporation at low temperature of this spring water 10 times saltier than sea water, from the depths of the Pyrenees.
