DEALCOHOLISED WINES
In a society that is increasingly aware of the importance of taking care of its health and significantly reducing alcohol consumption, alcohol-free wines are entering the market with force.
This is an ideal type of wine for those people who know how to appreciate the qualities of a good wine, but for various reasons, whether religious, being on a diet, having to drive, for pregnant and breastfeeding women, post-operative or athletes, among others... cannot consume alcohol but can enjoy our wine as an excellent alternative for meals, professional events and social celebrations.
Qualities
• Various studies have shown that red wine consumed moderately is healthy and offers various benefits; it is accepted that a glass of red wine a day helps the cardiovascular system.
The content of prophenolics and various vitamins fight aging, cardiovascular and coronary diseases. Similarly, it also decreases the level of insulin in the blood, increases estrogen levels and improves blood circulation in the brain.
Wine contains flavonoids and anthocyanins, and these would be the factors that contribute to its antioxidant power.
Flavonoids have very useful characteristics:
- They make bad cholesterol (LDL) more harmless by preventing its oxidation.
-They prevent blood platelets from agglutinating, forming clots.
-Inflammations decrease.
Tannins are part of the prophenolics found in the skin of grapes and are recognized by the drying taste in the mouth. The tannin content produces a greater amount of good cholesterol, or HDL, and serves as a cardio-protector, due to its high density.
Dealcoholized wine maintains all the phenolic elements that guarantee these benefits, with the added advantage that it avoids the negative effects of excess alcohol.
•In addition to the absence of alcohol, dealcoholized wines also do not contain fat, and have less than half the calories of traditional wine. This translates into 22 calories for a 30 ml drink compared to the 100 calories on average for alcoholic wines. This characteristic makes our wines an excellent product when it comes to enjoying a healthy diet without depriving ourselves of a glass of wine.
