The idea for Shot Ice came to young entrepreneur Simon Schulze Sutthoff during a night of partying when he was handed a standard water ice cream cone.
After about half a year of preparation, Shot Ice was officially launched on January 1st, 2014.
The sale of the ice cream, which was labeled by hand at the beginning, was initially limited to smaller events, weddings, street festivals, student parties. The response from customers was sensational and increasingly confirmed the young entrepreneur in his plan to establish Shot Ice as a brand and product.
The first major customer was won in the summer of 2014. MEGAPARK Mallorca recognized the potential of Shot Ice and immediately ordered 25,000 ice creams. More big names were to follow. To date, sales figures have increased continuously and Shot Ice's customer portfolio now includes customers from 5 European countries. In addition to the sales partners, we also sell SHot Ice at around 70 festivals a year. Among them are greats like Rock am Ring, Rock im Park, Wacken Open Air, Nova Rock, Electric Love, Airbeit One, Nature One and many more.
