It was in 2018 that Maude created Si Les Plantes…, a workshop dedicated to natural and artisanal cosmetics.
Very early on, keen to act for a more united and ecologically responsible world, Maude quickly oriented her studies as a biologist towards ecology.
After a master's degree in ecological engineering and 2 jobs in environmental protection associations, she resigned in January 2017. She creates and tests formulas for balms, creams, dry oils, deodorants, lip sticks, etc. She searches for local producers of organic, artisanal and natural ingredients, she prepares the animation tools for the workshops. And there you have it, If Plants... was born !
In 2022, Pauline joins her in the adventure. Previously in the health sector, she is realizing a wish she has had for years: putting her values and skills into practice to participate in the promotion of responsible agriculture that is close to consumers.
Our primary values are raising awareness among cosmetics consumers (so that they make informed choices and gain independence from the industry's advertising messages), promoting peasant agriculture and artisanal products for a united and environmentally friendly world. sustainable.
Si Les Plantes… cosmetics are manufactured in our laboratory in Ancenis in Loire-Atlantique (44).
We are committed to formulating healthy, simple hygiene products at affordable prices, with understandable formulas and suitable for the whole family (yes, it's possible!).
Since its creation, Si les Plantes… has benefited from the Nature & Progrès label (bio-ecological cosmetics). Our manufacturing processes are therefore natural, limiting their impact on the environment as much as possible and with low energy consumption.
We invest deeply in rigorously selecting our basic ingredients based on ethical, environmental and qualitative criteria.
They are sourced from local producers whenever possible; 42% come from less than 150 km and 64% from France.
For ingredients not grown in France, we favor those offered in fair trade such as coconut oil and shea butter.
Of course, all ingredients are organically grown!
We are proud to distribute our products in the usual short circuit structures (organic stores, AMAP, GASE, bulk grocery stores, pharmacies, etc.).
We propose :
- deodorants (super effective!),
-oils for body and face
- balms
- soaps and shampoos made by an ecological process: cold saponification (SAF).
We have formulated 2 complete ranges which constitute the historical basis of our products:
- a Nature range, with a refined formulation without essential oils or allergens and suitable for all skin types, even the most sensitive. This is the ideal range for babies, children, pregnant or breastfeeding women...
-a Sacré Géranium range, with Bourbon Rose Geranium essential oil known for its firming and toning properties of the skin. This is one of the best essential oils for the skin!
These 2 ranges are 100% plant-based and vegan!
Added to these 2 ranges are soaps and balms with nourishing and soothing ingredients, as well as ecological maintenance soaps.
