Porcelain figure depicting a girl in an elegant pastel green dress, with a white petticoat, a curled collar and pretty brown shoes. She sits on a marbled step, and stretches her legs out to the side along the rectangular base below, and keeps her hair on one shoulder, tidy thanks to a white band that encircles her head, probably thinking of her boyfriend Filippo, who sits not far away .    Every object produced by Sibania is absolutely unique both in the creation of each individual piece and in the production technique which is unmatched and which makes it difficult to imitate. These items are entirely modeled and painted by hand in our laboratory in the province of Vicenza (Italy). The clothes are thin sheets of porcelain, on which textures are imprinted. These sheets are cut according to the dress model and then patiently applied to the body of the statue. The hair styles are also handmade from time to time. On the "bisque" terracotta the faces, clothes and accessories are painted with non-toxic colours; the piece finally undergoes a further firing called "third fire". Any further details such as violin strings or wasp stands are applied at this point to the finished piece.
