Porcelain figure depicting a child sitting on a gray armchair. He's wearing a pair of jeans and a cream-colored sweater with a triangle pattern on the chest, with brown sneakers and a light blue and brown cap on his 23s. He sits bored with his face resting on one hand, without much desire to go and play with his little sister Pierina. Every object produced by Sibania is absolutely unique both in the creation of each individual piece and in the production technique which is unmatched and which makes it difficult to imitate. These items are entirely modeled and painted by hand in our laboratory in the province of Vicenza (Italy). The clothes are thin sheets of porcelain, on which textures are imprinted. These sheets are cut according to the dress model and then patiently applied to the body of the statue. The hair styles are also handmade from time to time. On the "bisque" terracotta the faces, clothes and accessories are painted with non-toxic colours; the piece finally undergoes a further firing called "third fire". Any further details such as violin strings or wasp stands are applied at this point to the finished piece.
