Porcelain zodiac figurines: Aries

Aries according to the Zodiac Spring begins on March 21st, and with it the Zodiac with Aries also begins. Aries brings with it the energy of awakening, birth, the principle, the vital impulse to sprout, to start doing things, to get moving. He doesn't back down from a proposal, he throws himself in, he takes the risk. It needs to feel alive, it is the vital principle of existence, and as such it has a strong need for recognition. However, the impetuosity he puts into starting something is often lost in the long term, leading him to avoid conclusions, if only due to the complete lack of strength after the initial all-encompassing effort. In relationships, if he does not prefer solitude which allows him freedom of change, Aries thrives on strong and all-encompassing passions, and manages to give himself very generously and with dedication both in love and in friendships. It easily enters into competition, which sometimes leads to difficulties in collaborations. The Aries of Sibania Aries is a sign of action, which is why our figure is caught in that moment of stasis before getting up ready to leave. The strong masculine characteristics are represented here by the veiled warrior clothing (the cloak and leggings), since the god Ares (Mars), god of war, is its symbol. The bob hair is based on this same principle, and recalls the ram's horns in the hairstyle, circular and facing forward. The colors are in warm tones: lively red dominates this sign, with a touch of gold to underline the profile, while the eyes are a warm hazel. The hair is brown, like all the signs placed in the bright part of the year. Like the other Fire signs in this collection, Aries also dresses in precious lace, to recall the majesty of the Fire element. The crossed bodice on the chest reveals the symbol of the sign in the golden profile. Finally, the base is red, to remember that it belongs to the Fire element. The mini Aries of Sibania Aries is a sign of action and our figurine is just ready to go. The cloak and short hair are reminiscent of the war god Ares (Mars). The lively red dominates the sign, with a touch of gold on the profiles, and the eyes are a warm hazel like the hair. Like the other signs of the majestic Fire element, Aries also dresses in precious lace, while its base is red and bears the symbol marked on the side. Every object produced by Sibania is absolutely unique both in the creation of each individual piece and in the production technique which is unmatched and which makes it difficult to imitate. These items are entirely modeled and painted by hand in our laboratory in the province of Vicenza (Italy). The clothes are thin sheets of porcelain, on which textures are imprinted. These sheets are cut according to the dress model and then patiently applied to the body of the statue. The hair styles are also handmade from time to time. On the "bisque" terracotta the faces, clothes and accessories are painted with non-toxic colours; the piece finally undergoes a further firing called "third fire". Any further details such as violin strings or wasp stands are applied at this point to the finished piece.
