Porcelain zodiac figurines: Libra

Libra according to the Zodiac Libra is the first sign of autumn, a season of evaluations and inevitably of choices, made with great serenity. Perpetually in search of balance, Libra is aware that true balance is not found by being alone but in relationships with others, and that true integration involves meeting and accepting the Other from oneself. Beauty, kindness, delicacy and respect are evident characteristics of the sign: in fact it loves Pleasure and Beauty in all its forms, starting with relationships. However predisposed to balance and harmony, however, it is actually very often tormented by strong insecurity. With a more rational than emotional predisposition, Libra puts reality as it is on one side, and the ideal and sometimes unreal image on the other: in the middle there is the choice, the compromise. ANDidealist and perfectionist, and suffers greatly from not seeing his idyllic vision materialize. Conformity, for fear of being marginalized and isolated, is one of the easiest traps for the sign. The Libra of Sibania Libra is a sign that seeks harmony and justice in choices, its position is therefore frontal, elevated above the others, and with its arms it seems to weigh the possibilities that are open to it. Position and dress reflect the duplicity of the sign: the asymmetrical arms contrast the line of the dress, which goes from short to very long. The hairstyle is composed and refined, with a braid that runs around the head to close with a bow at the nape of the neck, and represents her high aesthetic sense. The colors of Libra are pink and emerald green, which are found in the dress and in the bow that adorns the hair, while blue, the secondary color for the sign, gives light to the eyes, crystalline and pure. The hair is brown, indicating that the period is not yet winter. As with the other Air signs, the figure is embellished with light and irregular lace. The symbol of Libra is summarized in the lapel that surrounds the chest and goes around the shoulders. Finally, the base is blue, to remember belonging to the element Air. The mini Libra of Sibania Libra seeks harmony in choices, its position is therefore frontal and with asymmetric arms it evaluates the possibilities.  The hairstyle is composed and refined.  The colors are pink and emerald green of the dress, while the blue, secondary color, illuminates her eyes. As with the other Air signs, light and charming, the dress is embellished with lace, while the base is light blue with the symbol of the sign on the side. Every object produced by Sibania is absolutely unique both in the creation of each individual piece and in the production technique which is unmatched and which makes it difficult to imitate. These items are entirely modeled and painted by hand in our laboratory in the province of Vicenza (Italy). The clothes are thin sheets of porcelain, on which textures are imprinted. These sheets are cut according to the dress model and then patiently applied to the body of the statue. The hair styles are also handmade from time to time. On the "bisque" terracotta the faces, clothes and accessories are painted with non-toxic colours; the piece finally undergoes a further firing called "third fire". Any further details such as violin strings or wasp stands are applied at this point to the finished piece.
