Pisces according to the Zodiac The sign that ends winter and closes the entire annual life cycle is the sign of Pisces. A new beginning presupposes a phase of change, of disorder, in which ideas, dreams, imagination and inspiration reign supreme. A distinctive characteristic of Pisces is the capacity for metamorphosis, for adaptation (which sometimes ends in chaos), for empathic fusion with the outside to the point of forgetting oneself; sometimes it is difficult to recognize and respect boundaries, as well as reality and fantasy, the Self and the Other. His is a unifying vision of opposites, which gives this sign imagination and creativity, as well as great empathy towards others and towards the collective unconscious. The criterion that works for everyone, for the irreducible Pisces is a stimulus to find an alternative, once reached however it loses all interest, immediately projecting itself towards something else. Ironic and lucid reasoning is not his preferred path, while art is a form of expression that allows him to translate complex intuitions into a symbolic language. The Fishes of Sibania The sign of Pisces is the most emotional of the Zodiac, so it sits hugging its knees, in an almost defensive position, but with its gaze turned upwards, towards the future or the dream. Her unusual and asymmetrical dress represents the imagination of the sign, subtle in the print but pervasive overall. The sheets of tulle, a common feature of the Water signs, follow the draping of the skirt and reflect the dualism of the sign: a larger drop contrasts with two smaller ones, in front and behind, like the head and fins of a fish. The hair, gathered to the side, on the shoulder opens into two regular locks, recalling the iconography of Pisces. The colors of the sign are purple and light blue, opposite shades in the two parts of the bodice and echoed with the print and the shades of the tulle. The hair is black, as per the winter signs, while the purple eyes recall the color of the Water element, also evident on the base. The symbol of Pisces is repeated in the bodice, made up of two asymmetrical circular parts linked by a central tulle band. The mini Fishes of Sibania Pisces is emotional and sensitive, so he sits hugging his knees almost to defend himself, but with his gaze towards the future or the dream. The black hair, gathered to the side, resembles a fish's tail. The colors are purple and light blue, opposite in the bodice and on the dress. As with the other Water signs, this one is embellished with white tulle details, asymmetrical in color, while the eyes are purple like the base, on which the sign's symbol is shown on the side. Every object produced by Sibania is absolutely unique both in the creation of each individual piece and in the production technique which is unmatched and which makes it difficult to imitate. These items are entirely modeled and painted by hand in our laboratory in the province of Vicenza (Italy). The clothes are thin sheets of porcelain, on which textures are imprinted. These sheets are cut according to the dress model and then patiently applied to the body of the statue. The hair styles are also handmade from time to time. On the "bisque" terracotta the faces, clothes and accessories are painted with non-toxic colours; the piece finally undergoes a further firing called "third fire". Any further details such as violin strings or wasp stands are applied at this point to the finished piece.
