Candles made from recycled wax - handmade & sustainable
The candles are handmade from 100% recycled wax. The wax is sorted by colour, melted, carefully cleaned and poured into colored candles with a long burning time. Each SinnLicht is unique.
By using existing resources that would otherwise be discarded as waste, they are virtually CO2 neutral. Recycling also protects forests and existing agricultural land, since no "sustainable" waxes made from vegetable oils are used for the candles.
We value short transport routes when procuring raw materials. The recycled candle wax comes almost exclusively from Germany. Of course, we use green electricity in production.
The packaging is also as climate-friendly as possible. There is only a band made of recycled paper around the candle, which is attached with a bio-plastic adhesive tape (PLA). It will be shipped in plastic-free packaging. We rarely use bubble wrap, which we recycle from our incoming shipments.
In addition to the environment, supporting social projects is also important to us. That's why we donate 5% of our sales and involve social institutions in the production.
