Our production is based in Paris, where we have our own workshop. We have chosen to produce in small quantities to guarantee consistent quality and to minimize our environmental impact. Indeed, it allows us to reduce waste, use less energy and raw materials, and create baby products that last longer.
We use organic materials for our production. We have chosen to work with natural fibers such as organic cotton, merino wool, alpaca, cashmere, linen, and bamboo, because they are gentle on baby's skin and respectful of the environment.
Knitting is close to our hearts at SMÅ, which is why we have chosen to have our clothes made in Sweden, where the knitting tradition is very present. The knits are made by hand by our own team of grannies who master this technique to perfection. Hand knitting guarantees superior quality, incomparable softness and increased durability.
We are also committed to respecting workers' rights. We have chosen to work with local artisans to guarantee fair working conditions, fair compensation, and to support local craftsmanship.
