HEY, I'M ELODIE

I'm Elodie, young professional, mother of two young children and founder of Smoothie hair. That said, you certainly want to know where this project comes from?

It all started during the lockdown in 2020. I have always loved taking care of myself and my hair, I used to go to the salon regularly, to have different treatments, straightening, masks, etc.

Except that, like everyone else, confinement has disrupted all my habits. I found myself at home for weeks, with the salons closed, and my life as a mother to manage at the same time, without being able to do my straightening.

I then wanted to carry out this treatment myself, from home. However, I quickly realized that it was really difficult to find kits or products that suited me and met my expectations: either they were too toxic, or much too expensive, or they were not effective enough.

This really bothered me, and when talking to people close to me, I realized that this problem actually affects many people! That's when I decided to help anyone who has difficulty maintaining their hair. I decided to launch my own range of skincare products.

However, creating a formulation requires research and development as well as advanced chemistry skills. So I chose to be supported by a laboratory. Our production plant is located in Portugal. As a result, our products are manufactured and packaged according to European Union standards, just like French products, which are also subject to EU standards.

All our products are registered on the CPNP portal, a portal which allows online notification of cosmetic products, in accordance with cosmetic regulation no. 1223/2009.

After much research, I finally found recipes and methods that worked very well for me. I would even say that I had found an excellent solution: natural products, without harmful products, a perfect result, saving time and money: what more could you ask for?
