SOUK in the CITY is a love letter to Morocco — a celebration of color, craft, and connection. Born from years of travel and deep-rooted friendships across the country, my brand curates handmade treasures that tell stories. Think sun-kissed Berber rugs, vibrant baskets, upcycled cushions full of character, and joyful accessories that bring soul to any space.
I’ve spent over 20 years sourcing directly on the ground — from the buzzing criée berbère in Marrakech to quiet mountain villages where women still weave by memory. Each piece is either handpicked vintage or made in close collaboration with local artisans, using ancestral techniques and always in fair trade conditions.
Our signature: a bold mix of heritage and play. Like our upcycled cushion and floor cushion series — reimagined from vintage rugs, kilims and woven blankets, lovingly handcrafted in our Marrakech atelier by trusted maâlems.
