My name is Silvia Marzucchi and I am the founder of SteamyLab. I’ve been into jewelry for 20 years, 6 of which selling Venetian glass jewelry on market stalls in London. When I moved back to Italy, I had a shop for accessories and started creating jewels for my own shop. After a while I decided to master the soldering techniques following Internet tutorials. This changed everything – I was finally free to create what I had in mind in endless shapes and forms.
I hold a First Class degree in IT at the Middlesex University in London. This has nothing to do with what I'm doing now, but it could be an inspiration to everyone who are still looking for their ""element"" – anything is possible. I’m thankful to all my customers who enjoy my creations and support me in this adventure.

As a self-taught metal-smither, I like to innovate. I usually start a piece without knowing how it will look like and I love to set raw stones. Their unpredictable shape guides me and makes the pieces original. It's unpredictable which way I'll go around making my jewelry, and that's what I love the most; I don't have to choose how to do it, I just do it!
