Inverroche Gin - Classic

The Inverroche Gin Classic is a modern handcrafted gin from the distillery that laid the foundation for the crafting movement in South Africa. With a lot of craftsmanship and the connection to the flora around the Cap, an absolute highlight is created here. The Classic Gin is a composition of 15 types of plants that are distilled on the basis of a sugar cane brandy (cane spirit) in an elaborate one-shot process to extract the pure and subtle aromas. The gin is clear and richly structured, the traditional and hand-picked African botanicals blend in gently. Soft juniper notes are followed by fresh citrus aromas. Angelica root and spice bark give depth and a lasting natural feel, while coriander seeds and cardamom pods convey delicate warmth. The subtly fragrant undertone of the Cape Fynbos flora enhances the aromas of the classic plants and promotes complexity. A gin has to be like a gin, but also with a distinct "South African touch".
