Michel Benchetrit founded CIE (a company specializing in sportswear for men) in 1986 and was joined shortly after by his brother Henri in order to consolidate his activity. It was in 1989, after meeting Daniel Zaouï of the AB Productions group, that the company began the adventure of licensing and developed collections bearing the image of Boys Bands and Manga for children. In 2000, the merger with DND Trading (David and Daniel Taieb), one of its main suppliers and specialist in the Asian market, gave access to world-famous licenses such as Disney. The company CIE DND then became Sun-City and has since enjoyed success, making it one of the European leaders in textile derivative products.
