Shiitake - Japanese mushrooms

A fluffy chocolate brown mushroom, better known by its Asian name “shiitake”. Shii is the name of the tree (a kind of chestnut tree from southern Japan) whose dead wood it particularly appreciates. Widely used in pharmacy for its immunostimulant properties, its culture dates back to the beginning of the first millennium. For our part, we use lentins of the "dongo" variety, grown by hand on oak compost. Store away from humidity in an airtight container (jar, closed bag, etc.) & away from light at room temperature (max. 25°C)
