Santa Teresa olive oil comes from the village of Osuna, whose origins date back to almost 1000 BC. The village, with its experience of the different civilizations that have lived there, has expertise in the world of olives and olive trees. Today, Osuna olive oil is produced by the Santa Teresa company, founded in 1959 by the grouping of 37 farms. Santa Teresa olive oil develops a zesty and vegetal attack on the palate which evolves into a bouquet of nuts, dried fruits and liquorice. Distinctly bitter, it has a very pleasant smooth texture in the mouth. This oil goes perfectly with fish fillets in foil, or simply on pasta with parmesan. Olives picked mechanically, cold extraction, no filtration.
