Sarawak Black Pepper

Sarawak pepper is a great classic black pepper, originating from the island of Borneo in Malaysia. This rare and precious pepper is both fresh and fruity and adapts to both salty and sweet. In the kitchen, it goes very well with boiled eggs, fish such as red mullet or sea bream as well as with oven-roasted poultry served with a cream sauce. Sarawak black pepper is a great classic of the pepper family (Piper Nigrum variety). Dominated by wild aromas of musk and grilled meat, the nose quickly develops into notes of cedar bark and sandalwood. On the palate, this pepper offers a powerful attack as well as long woody notes.
