Hello,
My name is Anne-Claire, I started sewing as an autodidact in 2015.
Mother of 2 boys, aged 1 and 5 at the time, I wanted to make the most of them. So I learned to sew on my own in my tiny workshop.
To begin with, it was mainly creations for babies. Then over time I decided to create Zero Waste creations.
In 2017 I created my company Sur mon fil, and since then I haven't stopped. My creations are made of fabrics and replace what is normally thrown away. I am committed to producing as little waste as possible in my creations; all the offcuts are recycled into padding, for example. I also use recycled fabrics for some items. All the new fabrics I use are GOTS and/or Oekotex (without products harmful to humans and the environment).
