Our sour cherries come from the area around Samarkand, the legendary city from the fairy tales of the Arabian Nights. Where the Silk Road already stopped... ...there the sun shines 300 days a year and ensures rich fruit harvests. The sour cherries are grown according to certified organic guidelines, carefully collected, pitted and gently air-dried. Sour cherries taste wonderful with desserts and summer drinks, in smoothies and nut mixes, muesli, pastries and cakes and of course as a raw snack in between meals.
