Tante Gerda is an attempt by three ordinary people from Leipzig to produce the world's best lime liqueur. They wash, peel and press fresh organic limes by hand in order to preserve as much of the natural acidity, sweetness, bitter aromas and suspended matter as possible.
To make a real liqueur, water, alcohol and sugar are added. Then nothing. No flavorings, no additives.
