Tapis Petit is a Dutch brand for children's rugs. Our rugs are made especially for your little one. The rugs are perfect for playing, crawling, reading and cuddling. But of course you may also put the rug in your own bedroom or coffee corner.
Tapis Petit is known for its use of natural materials, warm colour combinations, beautiful design with fine details and good quality. Sustainability and practical use are also central to the design of our collections. All cotton rugs are pre-washed so you can put them in the washing machine at home. This way, you can enjoy the rug even longer.
The collections are designed with love and attention in the Netherlands. For us, it is a conscious choice not to have the rugs produced in Europe. Rugs produced in Europe are generally made of synthetic materials. Our rugs come from India. Here, they specialise in making rugs from natural materials such as wool, cotton and jute. We work with craftsmen who make the rugs for us by hand. They are reliable partners who are ISO certified. This means we use environmentally friendly dyes, use certified cotton and pay fair wages to both men and women. We are convinced that transparent and fair cooperation contributes to a long-term relationship. In this way, we contribute our bit to the development of the local population.
