Sichuan Flowering Pepper

The fiery distinctive aroma of our Sichuan Flowering Pepper has slightly lemony undertones rather than the pungency one often associates with traditional peppers, yet it can create tingly numbness in the mouth if not used sparingly. Add to stir fries (where it often pairs with star anise for fiery Sichuan-style dishes), sauces, marinades, meat rubs or even add a few to a pepper grinder.
