The 160 ml decorated white porcelain Gaiwan is decorated entirely by hand, it is the perfect accessory to serve tea with elegance and respect for tradition. What is the Gaiwan? The Gaiwan is a container used for the infusion of tea, equipped with a lid and a saucer, traditionally used for the ceremony. Method of use: remove the lid and put the tea leaves in the container, cover with hot water and leave to infuse. Once ready, move the lid slightly to create enough space for the liquid to flow. Grasp the container with your thumb and middle finger and place your index finger on the space in the center of the lid, then lift and pour the tea into the jug or directly of the cups. Most often this type of accessory is used during the Chinese tea ceremony.
