White Peony Bai Mu Dan white tea - 50 g

White Peony Bai Mu Dan White Tea is made from two leaves and a bud, picked in spring and dried in the sun. 

The leaves of this tea range from green to brown and the buds display a very light green, almost gray-white color, covered in a delicate velvety fluff. 

The pale yellow infusion has a persistent delicate scent and a sweet and soft vegetable flavor. 

Perfect to drink cold, with a very light fruity flavour. 

Fujian Bai Mu Dan tea is translated from Chinese as white peony. 

Tea got this name due to the shape of its leaves. 

White peony is considered to be a more popular white tea than Bai Hao Yin Zhen, but tea lovers are often more fond of tea for its brighter aroma and taste. 

When harvesting tea from bushes, foragers harvest fresh buds with two neighboring leaves growing, not grown to full size. 

During drying, the leaves do not wrinkle or twist.
