Oolong Jade tea from Yunnan 50 gr

Jade oolong turns out to be a case of low oxidation oolong tea grown in mainland China at high altitudes. 

The gardens of origin of this tea are located in the Yunnan region where, thanks to the different high reliefs of the area and the preservation of humidity by the tropical vegetation, it is possible to have a product that can be processed as an oolong. 

Another particular feature of this tea is that the camellia cultivar from which it derives is Ruanzhi, originally from the Anxi areas in Fujian where it is widely used in the production of partially oxidized tea. 

A final aspect that contributes to making this tea a real low oxidation oolong with rolled leaf is that the techniques used for the processing of these leaves follow the principles in force on the island of Taiwan which makes rolled oolong its own.
