Sheng Puer Tea (raw) Xi Gui Gold Leaf 2019 Brick 1kg

The Sheng Xi Gui Gold Leaf Puer Tea Brick was produced in 2019 in Lincang (prefecture south-west of Yunnan) with Puer tea leaves harvested in the Xi Gui area and left to ferment. 

It has a rich sheng puer tea taste. 

The sweet and fragrant taste remains even after multiple infusions.  Place of Origin Lincang, Yunnan, China Preparation We highly recommend steeping this tea in the traditional Chinese method (gong fu cha) to best enjoy these leaves. 

Following this preparation, you can use 5 grams of leaves (about 4 teaspoons) in a gaiwan of about 85 ml to obtain multiple infusions with different flavors. 

After a quick rinse of the leaves in water at 90°C you can proceed with an initial infusion of 20 seconds and, after which, keeping the water at the same temperature, you can proceed by increasing the time by 5 seconds each time compared to the previous infusion (20 – 25 – 30 …) This tea has a longevity of approximately 8 infusions.  For a classic Western-style preparation we recommend 3 grams of leaves (about 2 teaspoons) in a 150 ml cup with water at 90°C for an infusion time of one and a half minutes.  The tea can be filtered for greater ease when tasting it and the infusion times indicated above are also purely indicative so you can also adjust it based on your personal taste.  It is recommended to store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
