Red (black) tea with Bergamot Fo Shou Gan - 50 g

Fo Shou Gan with Bergamot is a red tea flavored with bergamot from the island of Taiwan. 

The leaves that make up this product were harvested in Nantou County and, during processing, were cyclically exposed to the aroma of bergamot in order to take on its scent and even some of its flavor. 

Before being dried, the tea was also slightly wet with bergamot essential oil which, in addition to contributing to the final aroma, gives a glossy effect to the totally fermented leaves. 

Finally, to emphasize the citrus aroma, the producer also wanted to add pieces of bergamot peel to its final product which help to preserve the aroma over time without making the citrus flavor in the cup too intense. 

During the tasting of this tea, the two main flavors of the infusion will be immediately and distinctly noticed.
