Yunnan Red Pagoda Red (Black) Tea owes its name and uniqueness to the particular shape in which it is modelled. The hand-selected tea leaves are expertly hand-tied to create a structure that recalls the silhouette of a pagoda, the traditional multi-tiered towers typical of Asian architecture. This craftsmanship not only gives the tea a distinctive aesthetic appearance, but also enriches the sensorial experience during infusion. When the tea “pagodas” are immersed in hot water, they gradually open, offering a fascinating visual spectacle reminiscent of the blooming of a flower. In addition to the visual aspect, this particular shape also influences the aromatic and taste profile of the tea. The infusion produces an amber-colored drink, with a sweet and enveloping aroma, characterized by notes of caramel.
