This plain pu-erh style tea is grown at the Satemwa Tea Garden in the highlands of Malawi in Africa and tastes very smooth and fresh with the classic earthy notes of pu-erh without being astringent. Its method of preparation mirrors that of a Yunnan style "shou" pu-erh, which means "cooked". This method gives the tea liquor its dark color and gives it its properties that aid digestion and boost metabolism. Satemwa is a 3rd generation tea and coffee garden located in Malawi, Africa.
