Far from the varieties widely available in the trade such as Golden, Granny Smith or even Pink Lady, we have chosen a blend of 5 old varieties originating from Normandy. Grown organically in the heart of Perche, our apples give Riva its buttery, almost tatin-like notes on the nose, while remaining very subtle on the palate. A refined, complex apple, twisted by the other ingredients that make this blend original! The organic nori and wakame seaweed used in our Riva blend comes from the shores of Brittany and is harvested manually on foot. They are preserved without any additives using a traditional sea salt preservation method. Very delicate, their iodized notes are expressed in the Riva finale. They make this blend a real land-sea, between the Breton sea spray and the Normandy countryside!
