The history of Terrecotte Lotti starts from afar, Ezio already worked the clay to produce
fire pots, and his son Fosco, born in 1926, as a child learned the trade using
"bare hands".
Fosco at the age of 12 was an employee of a company, in Colle di Val d'Elsa, his job
it was that of the "" model maker "", that is the one who, interpreting the tastes of the customers, created the shapes
from which the molds for mass production were built.
In 1955 he married Fidelia, known at the company and in 1956 they decided to leave for
found, with two other partners, Ceramica Toscana, a company that makes people talk a lot about themselves
quality of the artifacts. These are very difficult years, in which you have to "" work two days in one, one
for yourself and each other to pay the company's initial debts "".
Fosco, however, did not feel satisfied with his profession and in 1967, in the open countryside, in the Carpiglioni area, together with the brothers Vivetta and Danton Ferri, he founded Te.Co. (acronym for Terre Cotte).
Meanwhile, the son of Fosco, Paolo, undertakes his own individual business (1979), Lotti
Paolo Terrecotte and in 1982 he opened an important store in San Gimignano, this one
moment represents the turning point: in 1985 Fosco leaves the company and creates one with his son
new team.
2010 is the year in which the Lotti Company perceives that the economic situation must be interpreted in a new way compared to the past, the desire to establish, in the world of the Lotti family, a new way of selling is born; a renewed production structure, also based on the collaboration of artisans who assume the function of production platforms, will allow the creation of a national commercial network.
And so Terrecotte Lotti S.r.l. was born.
2012 represents perhaps the most important step: Terrecotte Lotti S.r.l. equips itself with a team
strong in sales, he creates the Sapori Collection, a line that joins the traditional color
brown, is characterized by the typical shapes of Tuscany and with colors that recall some typical features of the neighboring places in Colle di Val d'Elsa, therefore a new mission is born: we move from producing terracotta pots to selling "" Tuscan moments of pleasure " ",
representative of tastes and smells to enjoy the palate, enhancing those typical flavors of one
land and a unique and inimitable people of Made in Italy.
Terrecotte Lotti S.r.l. dresses up as an ambassador of the Tuscan land, rich in flavors, natural and artistic treasures, unique and inimitable.
In this way Terrecotte Lotti S.r.l. is conquering the market in a very short time
national, day after day more and more customers choose the Lotti product, in
