Coffee from Burundi - Kiboko

The Kiboko comes from the Kayanza region in northern Burundi and bordering Rwanda. The Kayanza region located in the north of Burundi borders Rwanda. It is a mountainous area which is often around 2000 meters above sea level. Also known for the production of tea, it is in this region that our partner Salum has its farm and its four washing stations. Our Kiboko is now 100% traceable because since this year it has been produced by Salum in its Shembati washing station. This implies higher quality for the same price and more regular roasting. A great way to promote an independent producer! A coffee with notes of hazelnuts, honey and roasted almonds.
