Summer Darjeeling, Makaïbari garden (Organic) 1kg - Bulk

Makaïbari is one of the plantations which gave its reputation to tea from the Darjeeling region, so much so that the first harvests are described as "tea champagne". The garden has been certified organic since 1988 and is grown entirely biodynamically. The second harvest (2nd flush) is harvested from May. The leaves are more colorful and the liquor more coppery than those of the spring harvest. The attack is slightly sweet, it is dominated by notes of ripe fruit evoking plum. The fruity and woody notes evolve towards a more floral palette giving the final note a low astringency. Note, however, that this astringency is typical of teas from this region and is not unpleasant. On the contrary, the aromatic richness of this tea gives it a very comfortable length in the mouth.
