Kagoshima Sencha is grown in the south of the Kyushu peninsula (southern tip of the main island). This very fertile agricultural region has gained popularity in the world over the last twenty years. Sencha are one of the most famous Japanese teas. These are teas shaped into flattened needles after steaming. They are very appreciated for their thirst-quenching and refreshing iodized flavor. This summer harvest offers a cup with powerful vegetal notes, a nice length in the mouth as well as a light fruity aroma. It is without any bitterness, provided you respect our advice on temperature and infusion time! Sencha Kagoshima comes directly from a Japanese tea farm that regularly wins awards in agricultural competitions in the region.
