Wicker Basket Rattle

These rattles, which they produce by hand, are an important source of income for these artisans with which they can finance school fees, as well as daily needs. Natural Rattan is the woody and secondary stem of a type of palm tree. It is what is popularly known as a liana. It is very abundant and as it is very flexible, it allows you to work with it easily. It is a sustainable alternative since it is 100% recyclable and natural. Furthermore, if it is done in an appropriate way and without overexploitation, it avoids the felling of trees and encourages the maintenance of forests, since only the vines that grow around them are used.
