Looking for a quick way to wrap gifts? Our beautiful handmade envelope gift bags feature an ungummed top flap, making them convenient and reusable. Crafted by Fair Trade artisans from sustainable Lokta shrub (meaning tree-free paper), only azo-free dyes are used to create the pattern.

Simply add a sustainable ribbon, jute string or washi tape to seal the top and it’s ready to be presented to the one you love this Christmas.

Our stunning gift bags are handmade from Lokta, a shrub that grows in the foothills of the Himalayas. After being harvested, it is boiled, cleaned, and beaten with wooden mallets to produce a fibre pulp. It is then mixed with water and poured into a shallow frame made of bamboo poles and canvas, before it is dried in the sun. Natural dyes and details are then added to the paper by the skilled artisans, creating the beautiful, acid-free paper.

The Lokta paper covers recycled card to give the boxes their structure.

Due to the handmade nature of our products each one is unique, but loveliness comes as standard.
