Our beautifully plump wire duck is the ideal outdoor decoration, colourful and cheery it is bound to bring a smile to everyone who sees it. Made from recycled metal by a fair trade organisation that aims to cut down the amount of waste created by mass production and focus on reusing what is already available, it not only looks good but does good too. With their mission to commit themselves and the producer groups they work with to Fair Trade principles, their goal is to change the lives of grassroots artisans. The organisation works with around 49 talented producer groups, representing approximately 500 artisans collectively working towards the eradication of poverty. Their focus on education and capacity building enables the people they support to become more aware of fair working conditions and the environment, in order to promote the value, cultural heritage and beauty of their handmade products.
