Large Coloured Leather Photo Album

Our hand crafted photo albums are a great way to display your favourite photographs. Each one is filled with 30 pages of handmade khadda paper, acid-free and interleaved with tissue paper to protect and preserve your memories. The album can hold up to 120 6×4″ photos and is also perfect for use as a scrapbook or sketchbook. You can organise the pages exactly as you wish as there are no pockets or lines to get in the way of your creativity so you can also use the albums as scrapbooks or for watercolour painting. Photos can be placed inside the photo album with glue, spray mount or self-adhesive photo corners. Expertly crafted using both contemporary and traditional methods, each one is bound by hand and sturdy enough to keep all your most treasured memories safe. The leather used for the cover is a by-product of the meat industry in India and is tanned using only natural dyes. Protected with natural oils, it will soften and age beautifully. The pages are created from khadda paper (also known as kaddi or khaddi). This sustainable material is crafted by hand from recycled cotton, salvaged from the huge waste of the Indian garment industry. Only unbleached cotton is used, ensuring the paper is acid-free. Lightly textured and luxuriously thick, it feels beautiful to write, draw, or paint on. While it’s perfect for ball-point pens, gel pens, or watercolours, we wouldn’t recommend it for use with fountain pens. Stylish and unique it also makes a difference to the communities who make them, the cotton paper is made by a charity that promotes women's development in rural areas of Rajasthan, India.
