Product Description Although the maple leaf is now closely associated with Canada, the maple tree as a species and its famous leaf were only officially recognized as Canada's arboreal emblem in 1996. The palmate leaves of the red maple are the easiest to distinguish from those of other maples. They are deciduous and arranged opposite each other on the stem. They are on average 5 cm long and of identical width, and are divided into three to five irregularly toothed lobes. The red color of this specimen is invigorating, it attracts the eye and holds it... Red is a symbol of passion, strength and love. It is one of those colors that creates a feeling of warmth and comfort. In interior decoration, it will undoubtedly bring dynamism and character to your living spaces. Finding the ideal location for your Herbarium will be child's play. At its simplest, look for where the light exposure will be strong to make the liquid around it shine, on dark furniture to bring out the magnificent shades of the leaves. Enhance your interior with soothing, natural and bright ambiances, for a decoration that suits you. Plant information The Red Maple (botanical name Acer rubrum) is a species of tree in the Sapindaceae family. It is native to eastern Canada and the United States and widely cultivated as an ornamental tree. It is the state tree of Rhode Island. Its synonyms are “Plain” or “Red Plain” in Canada and it is sometimes called “Virginia Maple” in France. It was the first American maple introduced to Europe. Probably by John Tradescant the Younger, a famous British botanist, gardener and collector, who brought it back from Virginia in the 1650s to his garden near London. It was then quickly appreciated and cultivated throughout Europe. It is in autumn that the foliage of Acer rubrum is the most spectacular, if the soil is not too chalky. It becomes very intense red, then orange and finally yellow at the end of the season. This beautiful red color is due to the presence of pigments called anthocyanins in the plant. When temperatures drop and sunlight decreases, these elements develop in the leaves. The red color of maple varies in intensity. It depends on the amount of light and temperature received during the growing season. Trees located in full sun produce redder leaves than those located in shade. Some varieties of Red Maple have redder foliage than others. Immersed, as if in weightlessness, in its preservation liquid and presented in an elegant bottle, it invites contemplation and letting go, to provide you with serenity and calm. Decorating tips A practical and inexpensive way to decorate your interior! Red plays its duality in decoration, since this color suits both sober styles and sophisticated, modern and trendy atmospheres. A color synonymous with vitality and action, red has a real influence on our mood. Good use of colors provides a feeling of well-being. Warm colors are stimulating, so we will use them to make our world pleasant and warm. They will therefore find their place in living spaces such as the kitchen or the living room. They will thus maintain dynamism and conviviality in the spaces where people meet to eat, share moments with family or friends. Take into account the exposure and brightness of your rooms. A space facing north will be darker and will need warm colors to bring in light. They will also brighten up and warm up the room.
