Our co-founder Ian is British-Chinese — he couldn’t find a beer that played nice with his system. Red face, upset stomach, awkward nights out. Sound familiar?

So he teamed up with his best friend from university, Ross — who’d found that beers containing gluten were increasingly causing him issues as he got older. Together, they spent a year developing a drink that felt a bit better.
