Ana Carrillo, the creator of Tienda Esquipulas, was born in Guatemala. Shortly after her arrival in France, she wanted to import the colors of her country of origin and contribute in return to its development. She therefore created Tienda Esquipulas in 2002, which is part of an ethical approach.
The brand works in a short circuit, without intermediaries, and manages the entire import and distribution logistics chain.
She is in direct contact with an informal community of around 100 manufacturers, including women's craft cooperatives that promote women's autonomy in Mexico and Guatemala.
