Magnificent flamboyant ex-voto heart, with a crown of thorns and surmounted by a cross. It was handmade by a craftsman from Mexico. It is made up of several layers of brass assembled together, which gives relief and power to this wall decoration. This Mexican sacred heart is part of the rich range of ex-votos hearts that are one of the great characteristics of Mexican popular culture. Although still used as a traditional votive object, it has now acquired a real decorative dimension due to the originality of its artisanal manufacture and the richness of its colours and designs.
