For my children ❤️ ❤️

🌱 When I was younger, my parents brought me back a piece of the Berlin Wall, and it had a profound impact on me. It represented a tangible connection to history, a moving reminder of what this piece of wall had seen and experienced.

🚉Later, while traveling, I sadly noticed that the souvenirs all looked the same, impersonal and mass-produced. It was difficult to find a treasure that truly captured the essence of a city. Today, 80% of souvenir items are made in China.

👨‍👩‍👦‍👦 Becoming a mother made me realize how important it was to pass on this love of travel and exploration to my children. I wanted them, like me, to be able to keep a fragment of each city they would have the chance to visit, an authentic testimony of these unforgettable experiences.

🚀This is how the Toit de Paris adventure began. I chose Paris, where my children were born. So forever, they will keep a piece of the beginning of their story. I started by making several drawings, I sought for a long time to capture its unique soul, its history and its timeless charm.

🍎And then, like Newton's apple, but less painful, Toit de Paris entered my life.

♻️Toit de Paris is an eco-responsible initiative, my declaration of love to the history and architecture of Paris. We have transformed fragments of Parisian roofs into rare, poetic and durable objects.

🫶🇫🇷All our creations are made in France with a deep respect for craftsmanship and the environment, giving life to objects that tell an authentic story.

🌏🧩🔑The concept is simple: Leave with a piece of Paris that has lived. It is a piece of the soul of this extraordinary city, a constant reminder of the beauty, culture and history that make it so captivating.

💡Did you know that? Toit de Paris, it’s a piece of history!
In fact, it was in the middle of the 19th century that Haussmann launched major works in Paris and decided to use zinc for his roofs. Today, 70% of Parisian roofs are made of zinc.

👏I am sure that many of you enjoy finding treasures from artisans and designers during your travels and I congratulate you for making this effort. It is through its creations that we shine the spotlight on the culture and know-how of a country or a city throughout the world. What remains engraved in our memory is the identity and the singularity of a city, let us bring back the objects that it deserves.

This is our way of helping you preserve the magic of your travels for generations to come...
